We can move trees wherever they need to go; whether that’s within your property, from the tree farm or to another property altogether.
We typically move trees in a few scenarios:
- Moving trees from one spot to another within your property.
- Moving a new tree from the tree farm to your chosen location.
- Moving trees between properties such as a neighbour or other private tree farms.
How big of a tree can you move?
- Our 46″ truck mounted tree spade will move trees with a trunk diameter up to 4 inches.
- Our 74″ truck mounted tree spade will move trees with a trunk diameter up to 8 inches
Call Us for an Estimate
Most of the time we can provide an accurate estimate over the phone if we have the following information:
- How many trees do you need to have moved?
- How far do they need to be moved?
- What is the approximate diameter of the trunk?
We can also provide an estimate on site at your request.

Before You Move a Tree
Underground services must be located on your property prior to work commencing. Contact Alberta One Call at 1-800-242-3447 to request their services. It usually takes up to 3 business days for locates to be completed.
There is currently no fee from Alberta One Call to locate underground services.
